Winter is coming, as has our pressing need for some winter style inspiration. Now that the clocks have gone back and the weather has taken a turn, a spot of reassessment is in order.
Opt for heavyweight and denser fabrics like corduroy, wool, flannel, or fleece. Or, you can try a pair of flannel-lined pants for some built-in bottoms layering. (Double the warmth!) You could even go the opposite route and get a pair of wind-blocking, rain-shedding winter pants to pair over your regular joints.
The key to wearing dresses in the winter is to stick to thicker fabric styles. Long sleeves, turtleneck or mock-neck silhouettes are also what one should look for to stay warm. Simply pair with tights, a slouchy boot and your winter coat.
